Socks work harder than almost anything else in your wardrobe. Yarn Food Sock Wash is a gentle, fibre-conscious wash designed to clean and freshen wool, merino and other natural-fibre socks — whether they’re hand-knitted, bought or worn every day.

The carefully considered formula cleans while added lanolin helps condition animal fibres, leaving them soft and beautifully cared for. Tea tree oil gives Sock Wash its naturally crisp, clean fragrance.

Its low-foam, no-rinse formula also means less handling and agitation of delicate fibres during washing.

MADE FOR HARDWORKING NATURAL FIBRES
Socks experience repeated wear, friction and washing. Sock Wash is formulated at a fibre-friendly pH of 5.0–5.5 to clean them while caring for delicate natural fibres.

WITH ADDED LANOLIN
Lanolin helps condition animal fibres and maintain their soft, supple feel — particularly useful for wool and merino socks.

WITH TEA TREE OIL
Tea tree oil gives Sock Wash its distinctive fresh, clean fragrance and makes it particularly suited to frequently worn socks.

NO REPEATED RINSING REQUIRED
Sock Wash uses surfactants that loosen dirt from the fibres and suspend it in the wash water. When you lift the garment out, the loosened dirt stays in the water rather than settling back into the fibres. Because the formula is low-foaming, repeated rinsing isn’t needed. This means less handling and agitation of delicate fibres during washing, while allowing the conditioning ingredients to remain in the garment.

    If ordering tops, roving or jumbo yarn, all quantities will be sent in a continual length (up to 10kg) unless otherwise stated or requested.

  • Our fibres & yarns are made right here at WoW HQ. During the production and picking of your items, we operate a +/- 5% tolerance on item weights, as they are hand finished & picked.

    We always try to compensate for this and provide above, but with fine margins, we can guarantee up to +/- 5% tolerance.
