Celebrating British Bluefaced Leicester Wool

Two patterns included!

Across the advent period you’ll come across three yarn variations in this calendar. The first is 100% Bluefaced Leicester, pure wool with nothing added and nothing taken away. The second is an 80% Bluefaced Leicester and 20% Natural Tussah Silk for a more luxurious yarn. Finally the third is a 100% Bluefaced Leicester marl which has been created by plying different coloured singles together to give a barber pole effect.  Some of these are more bold than others!

All of these yarns have been spun to a DK weight (230m/100g) so they can be used together for any projects you might have in mind.  Each 25g ball is 57m, and if you have purchased the double up calendar you will have 2 x 25g balls in each of your daily boxes.
