We use 23mic 64's merino wool tops for our Superwashed dyed range. Our Merino originates from South Africa (cape) or South America depending on availability from non-mulesed flocks. The dyes used are commercial acid dyes which conform with Oeko-Tex 100 quality system. We have tried to represent the colours as accurately as possible on our web site, however we would recommend purchasing one of our sample binders to see the exact colours available. Perfect for dry felting, hand spinning and many other craft uses. Our dyed Merino range conforms with EN71
The Technical Stuff
Fibre: 100% MerinoProcess: Superwashed & DyedThe superwash treatement allows the fibre to resist shrinkage when washed. This is ideal for using on projects which will get a lot of use i.e spinning in yarn for scarves etc. Please note that Superwashed wool is not suitable for wet felting.
Please Note: Colours may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the nature of natural fibre. We have taken every step to represent the colours correctly, but we do recommend ordering a sample for clarity as colours can change depending on your screen settings.
If ordering tops, roving or jumbo yarn, all quantities will be sent in a continual length (up to 10kg) unless otherwise stated or requested.
