World of Wool is honoured to provide a unique opportunity to own wool from the Vicuna, an animal renowned for producing an exceptionally fine and insulating fibre with a diameter of less than 14 microns.

This rare fibre is available in limited quantities. Each Vicuna produces up to 200g of fibre over 3 years.

Please note this fibre is available in 5g quantities. Please get in touch with us directly if you wish to purchase 100g or more. 

Due to the delicate nature and rarity of this fibre meaning it is tricky to process, it may need to be shipped in multiple pieces.

  • Please Note: Colours may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the nature of natural fibre. We have taken every step to represent the colours correctly, but we do recommend ordering a sample for clarity as colours can change depending on your screen settings.

    If ordering tops, roving or jumbo yarn, all quantities will be sent in a continual length (up to 10kg) unless otherwise stated or requested.
