Because of our heavy involvement in the wool industry, and presence in Huddersfield - heart of the wool textiles industry - we felt it only right that we should support the local year long Wild About Wool Project and Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival by becoming the main sponsor of both events.
Wild About Wool is a year-long lottery-funded project in the Colne Valley to stimulate an interest in wool-related crafts as well as unearth the stories of those who worked in the industry that shaped the area
World of Wool's Richard Morsley said: "We were delighted to be asked by the organisers of the Wild About Wool Project to get involved, as we agree that it is imperative to have a record of what is a very important industry to Huddersfield."
